Dream...
Carol is a 65 year old hospice patient who suffers from severe lung and kidney disease.  She lives alone and is confined to an electric wheelchair.  Carol receives inspiration and hope through her church family, and had not been able to attend due to the progression of her illness.  Carol’s dream was to have handicapped equipped transportation to attend worship services at her church.

With the generosity of Eagle Transport in Ocala, Carol is now regularly attending church services on Sunday morning, and has developed a deep friendship with her driver, Curtis.  Thank you Curtis for helping make Carol’s Dream come true!

Dream...
Nicole, 25 years old, suffered from metastatic squamous cell carcinoma of the tongue.  Her dream was to take her 2 children and family to Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL for a week.  “It is important to her to have a positive memory and quality ‘fun time’ with the family and children, as she has had to be gone in the hospital for a large part of the end of last year.  To her, it is pertinent to leave her children with as many memories as she can with the short time that she has left.”

Delivering Dreams sent Nicole, along with her husband, children, and parents on an all expense paid 5 nights stay at the Walt Disney World Key West Resort.  Thank you to Disney for donating a portion of the tickets.  They had a great time and the focus was on “fun and memories instead of cancer”!  Nicole passed on to be with the Lord in heaven just 7 weeks after her trip.
